OUR NEW LOGO!

Our beloved Parish has a new logo! The Cross in the middle of the logo is inspired from the oldest cross ever painted in a Syriac Manuscript, tracing back to the 6th century. Around the Cross are written the words “Saint Maron” in Syriac, the liturgical language of our Maronite Church. Around the Cross is represented the skyline of Cleveland. The main color of the logo is “Maroon”, a color that symbolizes martyrdom, and that reminds the bricks decorating the walls of both our churches. The logo also exist in a simple form.

ICS KA’AK (PALM SUNDAY)

Orders for Ka’ak will be taken following all Liturgies from Saturday, March 15th until Monday, March 31st. Cost is $10/bag. All orders must be paid in advance. Pick-up is following the 5pm Liturgy on Saturday, Apil 12th and the 9:30 am & 11am Liturgy on Sunday, April 13th.

FRIDAY’S OF LENT

WAY OF THE CROSS

In observing the tradition of the Church, we will gather every Friday for the Via Crucis (Way of the Cross) and the Maronite Benediction of the Cross at 6:30 p.m. at Saint Maron Downtown. It will be followed by a potluck dinner. Please bring a dish with you to share.

SONS OF MARY

The Sons of Mary are back! All men are invited to join us every first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. to pray together and socialize. We will have our first meeting at the Chapel in Independence on Monday April 7th at 7:00 p.m., beginning with a brief spiritual talk, followed by our relaunching meeting. All are welcome!

BIBLE STUDY

We will have two Bible Study classes every Tuesday of Lent starting tonight, Tuesday March 4th at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Center in Independence.
Fr. Alejandro Landin (EN), Subdeacon Mario Ghosn (AR) will lead the classes.

We will have Liturgy beginning at 6pm at the Chapel.

Groundbreaking For The New Pavillion

Construction of the new pavillion on the main campus in Independence, Ohio has begun. The first phase entails running all of the required utilities to the pavillion area.
